4-5-11 Checked the 2nd bird box and found nesting material in it so I put a cam in it to see what it is. I am thinking it is a sparrow and if it is will remove the nesting material to discurage them. If it is a Blue Bird I will have the cam up and running.

4- 9-11 Checked the box and it was sparrows moving in, will keep watching.
4-16-11 Got the new computer up and running on the BB feeder box, Will switch it to nest box as soon as I see some activity there.

5-15-11 Got a much needed rain friday afternoon so took the new camper out for the weekend. It continued to rain Sat, and Sunday and got down to 38 degrees then the wind picked up on Sunday when we got up.
Got a total of Appx. 2.85 inches of rain. Need to get the beans planted some day.
5-22-11 Got the Beans planted
6-30-11 3thof rain the whole month, Getting dry here.
7-30-11 Picked 21 Doz ears of sweet corn, Verygood considering the fact that we started watering on the 16th, an inch a week.
7-31-11 Got rain on the 24th .7 and again on the 31st 1.5 inches. Some of not most of the corn my not of pollinated very well in this dry and heat, Have had eight 100+ degree days and very little rain for the month.
8-3-11Picked another 18 dozen ears of sweet corn.
10-2-11 Combined Beans at home today, Appx,50 bu/a give or take. Best beans this farm has ever raised.
10-3-11 Combined 2nd farm of beans today. 1 more to go.
10-8-11 All beans combined and all farms yielded over 50 Bu/acre ( for those that don't know that is good for this crazy year) and with good prices it makes it worth while doing it again next year I think.
11-6-11 Had the best Birthday gift ever! Got some pictures of my GrandDaughter that I havnt seen or heard from in over 2 yrs, God only knows how much I miss her and would love to see her again. But we take what we are givin and keep chugging on. Love Ya Dayna!!!
